Each SR’s chassis comes equipped with an onboard air lift system that can raise the front of the car approximately 3" in less than 5 seconds to clear obstacles. The car can then be lowered again to the proper ride height from the controls on the dash. Below is an image of the SR Air Lift System Airbags are installed in the front suspension.

The image shows a SR two gallon air tank in front of the left rear tire and SR’s on board compressor below the air tank. The compressor refills the air tank automatically when the pressure drops below a certain level. 

When a SR fibreglass body is on the steel tube chassis the air lift will raise the height from a 4" clearance to an adjustable 10"
